The Best Google Reader Alternative:
As you may know that Google Reader will not be available after July 1, 2013.
While Google has told their users how to download Reader data, but not why to close Reader.
In my opinion, Google wants people to spend more time on Google+, but fails to integrate Reader into it perfectly, so they try to close Reader and think people will move to Google+ anyway.
No matter why Google are going to KILL Reader, as a fan who has used Reader everyday for many years, it is upset to leave Reader and it is time to find an alternative.
Among Netvibes, Pulse, Bloglines and some other Google Reader alternatives, Feedly is the best, because of the following 5 advantages:
1. To sync with your Google Reader
You can import your Google Reader feeds directly in one click.
2. To integrate with Twitter and Facebook
You can connect to Twitter and/or Facebook and read the updates from your friends on Feedly sidebar.
3. To view in 5 different formats
You can display and view your feeds in Titles, Magazine, Mosaic, Cards and Full Articles formats.
4. To use on many devices and browsers
You can use Feedly on your computer systems with Chrome, Firefox and safari browsers, as well as on iOS, Android and Kindle mobile systems with its apps.
5. To feel like Google Reader
Like Google Reader, Feedly is also available for you to add and search for new feeds, to add tags, to share via Google+, Twitter, Facebook and some other ways, so on and so forth.
Besides the above 5 features, you can also change themes, save feeds for later reading, explore YouTube videos, and even do more.
Although Feedly is the best alternative, it is still second to Reader; although Google has rights to KILL Reader, I still want to say — Damn Google!
